All Hallows’ parish was founded on March 17, 1959. If you look at the cornerstone of the church building, it will say Nov. 1, 1961, another special date in our parish history. So, where did this faith community worship in those intervening years? The Women’s Club, the hotels on La Jolla Blvd, and most fondly remembered, Pernicano’s Restaurant on Turquoise Street. Johnny and Lee Pernicano were founding members and with their restaurant “available” on Sunday morning, they graciously opened up the space for our newly formed Parish.

To commemorate this, our 65th Anniversary celebration continues with our feast day of All Saints on Nov. 1. We will celebrate Mass at 5:30 pm followed by a Spaghetti Dinner for all our families in the Parish Hall.
