The Missionary Cooperation Plan is an annual program within the Catholic Church that facilitates visits from missionaries to local parishes to share their experiences and solicit prayer and financial support. It connects the global Church with local communities like All Hallows parish in La Jolla, fostering a sense of shared responsibility for evangelization.

The MCP aims to educate parishioners about the Church’s missionary work and to raise funds for missionary organizations and dioceses. Missionaries, representing various religious orders, lay organizations, and mission dioceses, are invited to give presentations at weekend Masses, sharing their experiences and needs. The program provides missionaries with an opportunity to personally appeal for support and allows parishioners to learn about the realities of the mission field and to fulfill their baptismal call to mission.
