Letter from Father Jerry: Location for Masses

As I am sure you have heard, on Tuesday, San Diego County SANK into the “PURPLE and MOST RESTRICTIVE TIER” of the COVID-19 classifications.

What that means for us, as ALL HALLOWS CHURCH, is that indoor services are forbidden for at least 3-4 weeks, and all MASSES must be celebrated OUTDOORS!

So, beginning this weekend of November 14th and 15th, our Saturday evening Mass at 5:30 and Sunday morning Masses at 8:00 and 10:00 will return to the portico running along the southern and western sides of our hall.

Fall is definitely in the air and winter will be following soon! So come to Mass dressed accordingly. I suggest the “layered look” with a sweater and heavy coat (just in case), gloves and or mittens, and a head covering of some kind. AND DON’T FORGET YOUR MASK!

During the “Purple Tier,” the church will be open for private prayer only. The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) will be celebrated on Saturday afternoon at 4:30 in the west-facing wing of the hall portico.

I look forward to seeing you.

Yours In Christ,

Fr. Jerry
