A leper approached Jesus, did him homage, and said, “Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean.” Jesus stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, “I will do it. Be made clean.”
Father Jerry says that, “If you have been made clean by the hand of God… If you have been made whole by an experience of God’s mercy… If you have been caught in the net of God’s compassion… never mind trying to find the words to explain it. Let your life show God’s presence. Be the agent of mercy that you have received. Catch others in the same net that caught and saved you. Be the proof that God is at work among us.”
