Today the church celebrates Friday of the 34th week in ordinary time. “Soon our growing season begins to end. Summer gives way to Autumn; our final colors before we return to God who planted us,” says Father Jerry. “The grayness of late November mirrors the fragility of our lives. These days on the edge of winter are signs that are growing season becomes shorter and our days to harvest become fewer.”
