“After Michelle Brenner got furloughed from her job,” said Father Jerry, “she offered to do grocery shopping for people who were most at risk for contracting COVID-19. She was happy to be of help to her neighbors in Gig Harbor, Washington.”

“There was a sense of panic in my area and I felt it was my call and duty to help,” Michelle said.

“Michelle was getting a lot of requests for lasagna, but rather than buy it, she decided to MAKE it,” says Father in today’s homily. “She posted an offer in her town’s Facebook group to make a pan for anyone who wanted one.” You won’t believe what happened next! Her $1200 stimulus check could not have come at a better time.
