“How often do we need signs and wonders in order to believe?” asks Father Jerry in today’s homily. “Jesus reminds us to seek the Lord not only in times of crisis, but also experiencing the miracle of God’s love in the little things by trusting in Him. Pain, sickness and tragedy are inevitable in our lives. Perhaps the lesson here is to remember that by turning to God with faith, we will find comfort and peace. We are invited to leave our painful past behind and find joy and new life in God.”
