Today’s Gospel shows the Apostles afraid in a boat on the stormy sea. Outside the boat, Jesus tells them not to be afraid. Fear to trust that the Spirit of Jesus is in the boat can cripple the church as it tries to make its way to future shores. May that spirit calm fears as it did for the primitive community, so that we can get where the Lord wants us to go.
