In today’s homily, Father Jerry says:

If you choose to marry, then you must work to be the very best spouse that you can be, regardless of the cost to yourself, and that’s because a hundred percent commitment is what your wife or your husband has a right to expect.

And if you choose to become a parent, then you must work to be the very best parent that you can be, regardless of the cost to yourself, because a hundred percent commitment is what your children have a right to expect.

And if you choose to become a priest, then you must work to be the very best priest that you can be, regardless of the cost to yourself, because a hundred percent commitment is what God’s people have a right to expect of you.
