The Feast of Saint Thomas Aquinas

Today on this January 28th, the church celebrates The Feast of Saint Thomas Aquinas, Priest and Doctor of the Church. Thomas Aquinas, who died in 1274, is called ‘the angelic doctor.’ He wrote the Summa Theologica, and authored hymns. He is the patron of Catholic schools, colleges and universities. He is also the patron of philosophers, theologians and booksellers.
