The Feast of St. Bernard of Clairvaux

Today the church celebrates The Feast of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux. Bernard was an abbot in the 12th century, a reformer, and spiritual author. One of his most famous works is on “Loving God,” eighty-six sermons on the canticle of canticles.

Thank you for watching Father Jerry’s Gospel reading and homily for Thursday, August 20th. We will have Mass today in-person at 8 a.m. in our covered veranda. You can also join us this Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

We’ve re-arranged our seating, which now has many sets of two chairs for couples in attendance. We look forward to seeing you, as soon as you feel safe to do so. In the meantime, we are delighted to spend this time with you online each day.
