The Lord’s disciples, you and me, should never overlook a chance to bring ‘spiritual good’ to the people around them. Their words and deeds in God’s service should make the whole world a brighter place. “Sometime today may your kind word or simple kindness bring a measure of the salt of hope to another’s day,” says Father Jerry in today’s homily, “Let your wisdom and experience be the light that keeps someone from acting impulsively or foolishly. Let your faith and trust in God’s presence be the moral and ethical lampstand that illuminates the challenges and decisions you face in the course of today.”
