Tuesday of the 21st Week in Ordinary Time

In today’s Homily, Father Jerry repeats a quote from Harold Kushner, who said, “Life is like the baseball season, where even the best team loses at least a third of its games, and even the worst team has its days of brilliance. The goal is not to win every game but to win more than you lose, and if you do that often enough, in the end you may find you have won it all.”

Today the church celebrates Tuesday of the 21st week in ordinary time. Let us pray. Look upon us, O God, creator and ruler of all things, that we may feel the working of Your mercy, grant that we may serve You with all our heart, through our Lord, Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit. One God, forever and ever, Amen.
