Jesus said to the crowds, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.”

“This is a favorite Gospel of mine for a number of reasons,” said Father Jerry, “I think that the words of Jesus are absolutely stunning when he said I will not reject anyone who comes to me. And I believe that Jesus means ‘anyone.’ He goes on to say, “Because I came down from Heaven not to do my own will, but the will of the one who sent me. And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I should not lose anything of what he gave me.”

In Father Jerry’s video below for Wednesday, April 29th, he encourages us to “take heart, in those times when you might be feeling somewhat estranged from God.” God is crazy about you! So crazy about you that He sent his only son, Jesus, to die for you, that you might have eternal life. Jesus wants you to be saved and so does his father God.
