Today the church celebrates Wednesday of the first week of Advent. Father Jerry encourages us all. He says, “Make it a point this advent to heal a rift with someone. Reach out to someone who has no one to worry about them. Place that call to the friend you’ve put off too long. Be extra attentive to the things we can do to make our homes and communities safer places for those we care about.”
