Good Shepherd Sunday at All Hallows Parish

You are in for a real treat today as we celebrate Good Shepherd Sunday. You might shed a few tears of joy along with Father Jerry, our shepherd here at All Hallows. And we promise peace of mind when you listen to a gorgeous duet by All Hallows’ own Matthew Ignacio and Joshua Read, with Barry Dubis on piano, and Jennifer Michael directing.

Today, in the Holy Gospel, according to John, the Pharisees did not realize what Jesus was trying to tell them. So Jesus said again, “Amen, amen. I say to you. I am the gate for the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the gate. Whoever enters through me will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture. A thief comes only to steal and slaughter and destroy. I came so that they may have life and have it more abundantly.”

Father Jerry prays for us, “May we learn the lessons of compassion and justice that these demanding days are teaching us, resolving to bring our new appreciation of the humanity we share into every Easter season to come.” Thank you for gathering your family members to watch Father Jerry’s video for Good Shepherd Sunday:
