Monday of the 26th Week in Ordinary Time

In today’s homily, Father Jerry says that, “Playing with a child who is one, two, or three years old can be a challenge for us adults. First you have to bend down to get on the child’s level. Then you have to put aside adult logic, and experience, and see things through the perspective of the child.”

He adds that, “Finally you have to put aside your very self, because to engage a child requires that it be all about the child. It takes generosity of heart, selfless humility and total joy to engage a child.”
