The 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time

In today’s homily, Father Jerry tells an old Japanese legend, where a man who had passed found himself in Heaven. He admired the lush gardens and appreciated the breathtaking beauty. Eventually he found himself in a room lined with many shelves.

On the shelves were stacks and stacks of human ears! Watch Father’s video above to learn why only the ears made their way to Heaven, while the rest of the bodies did not.

Today we also come together through Peter’s Pence, to support Pope Francis as he reaches out worldwide to foster the faith and dignity of people on the margins.
