Jesus challenges us to consider how we use money and resources.

Do we use them to better our lives and the lives of those we love? Do we put what we have at the service of one another? Or does the pursuit of wealth become an end in itself… the singular focus and the purpose of our lives?

In today’s Gospel Jesus puts it bluntly: We cannot serve God AND money.
