Today Father Jerry shares with us that he knows people who are truly unhappy, and others who are full of joy. They’re all regular folks like you and me, so what’s the big difference between them?
“Give the Lord a gift that you are proud of,” says Father Jerry, “Because your generosity is a very concrete way of demonstrating your thanks to God for all that He has done for you.” It’s that generosity that literally built All Hallows just 60 years ago.
And with just little bit of humor he adds, “The Lord loveth a cheerful giver, but let me be quick to assure you, He also accepts donations from a grouch.”
