“The election is over. Whether we like the results or not, our democracy continues,” says Father Jerry in today’s homily, “So the question is, are we able to come together and continue the great American experiment? Can we put aside what divides us,and embrace the values that unite us? Do we possess the vision of God to work together for our country’s founding principles of justice for the poor and the vulnerable, and those on the margins of society?”
