“To go and make disciples means you and I have to be a disciple,” says Father Jerry in today’s homily. “Jesus’ ascension to His father means that Jesus trusts us with his mission. So be welcoming, pray, study, give, and love Jesus. Ask yourself honestly, “Do I have a personal relationship with Jesus in my heart? Do I talk things over with Him like I would with my best friend?” Nothing should be off limits because Jesus knows and loves you like no one else in the world.
