Tuesday within the Octave of Easter

Jesus said to Mary Magdalene, “Stop holding on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am going to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

In his homily, Father Jerry reflects on our current limitations due to COVID-19. “Our spirits seem to be sealed inside the tomb,” he said. “Our faith is challenged a bit more this Easter we’re waiting for some indication of hope and a return to normalcy.”

We pray: “Lift us out of our tombs of despair and fear, risen Lord, to behold your constant presence in our lives. Transform our tears into joy our isolation into communion our disappointments into hope as we behold you in the love and support of our brothers and sisters.”
